MotorVation Race Winning Tuning is not an off-the-shelf cookie-cutter performance chip. Each chip/module is designed to optimize the performance of your engine when using other aftermarket products. If you have made modifications to your engine such as heads, camshafts, large mass air flow sensors, intake manifolds, superchargers or nitrous systems, you should get custom tuning for your vehicle. This will insure that you get the maximum power gains from your added performance products. If the aftermarket product you purchased seems to give you less performance than you expected, it is probably because you need to tune your engine to get the product to do what it was designed to do by the manufacturer. For modifications such as high flow filters, cool air kits, or cat back and high flow muffler systems, you may use the MotorVation Stage 1 or Stage 2 performance chip to optimize the power of your engine. We recommend you use a 160-degree or 180-degree thermostat.
